The alternative menus have been updated. Rename to menuconf.tab to use it.

Various script tools have been added, particularly for the railroad. It is now possible to build multi-track stations. The same tools can also be used for upgrades.

Furthermore, there is now a tool that determines the route length (direction of travel) of a connection. Routes between the start and destination can now also be upgraded. This involves upgrading to the next higher route that the start field has.

There is a general limitation with script tools; they may not work in network play. The buttons/dialog are there, but they don't work when you click on them.
Script tools are always displayed, even if the defined objects are not available.
